"You aren't in sight, you aren't in sight.
Do you want me, like I want you?
Or am I standing still, beneath the darkened sky?
Or am I standing still, with the scenery flying by?
Or am I standing still, out of the corner of my eye?
Was that you passing me by?"

I've been trying to relax and breathe lately....... that means LOTS of manips and running around the garden time!

I might be able to get around to uploading a tutorial, but not quite sure. We'll see

.
Anyways, I thought I'd share my happy place (which explains why it's rather chaotic and beautiful... or at least I hope so lol). There's water, mountains, a beautiful sunset that's neither too bright or too dark, and a dinky little cottage that has AC.

There's a cubby playing in the water/looking at its reflection, and it's just a really random and magical place in my head

. It of course changes all the time, but at the moment; this is it.
Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark" just started playing from my playlist. How fitting

.

This image in particular stood out in my sort of proof sheet view this evening as being extraordinarily vivid which was only amplified when I opened it up to full size.
Overall the image has a bright tone about it, but what I find especially impressive are the details in the darker areas of the image, they are superb. There is a lot of depth in the image, almost a 3D type of feel to it, which is something I appreciate very much.
I appreciate the comments you left with the image. For me those are always important for two reasons. One is that they give me some insight into what the artist was thinking, I not only want to enjoy beautiful art but I think beautiful art is enhanced when the viewer gets to know a little more about the artist. The second reason I feel artist comments are important is because they tell me the artist really gave some thought to their work, there is a purpose behind it, and that the artist put something of themselves into it.
Going with those comments as a "happy place" I feel this image shares that feeling very well. The beauty of the colors, the seclusion being peaceful, and the sun on the horizon always bringing out the most beautiful images in that period of transition.
This being a manip and presented through multiple images, there is always the challenge of making it all appear as a single image from the start, for the most part I feel you have done an excellent job of that. The light and shadows throughout the image from my view all appear to go together, nothing really stands out as far as being "pasted in" from another image in the sky, water, or terrain.
I think the addition of the tiger is an awesome touch to the image and being a cat lover makes me smile. However I do think the tiger is lost somewhat in the image, I didn't notice her right away. There is something to be said about an image like this being more natural with the tiger appearing in the scene in subtle sort of way. But my own personal feelings are I would enjoy seeing her maybe a little more in the forefront of the image.
I really love what you've done with the sky, and the con trails all leading towards the sun. The sky looks alive to me with the clouds and different shades of color, it's awesome.
Overall I think this is a beautiful image and certainly some place I wouldn't mind being right now. I'm marking five stars for all categories because I feel the rating system is a little unfair and so subjective.
