My dad for some reason, thought this was a tiger lily ^.^;. It is indeed an orchid, but I thought I would name it Tiger Orchid to make him feel better
. Anyways, I really enjoyed how this shot turned out. It was a random trip to Home Depot, and I didn't think that they had plants this time of year. Apparently they still had some in their mini greenhouse

Edit: I've been meaning to update this for awhile. I lightened it up, and I think it's much better not darker
. Looks a bit cleaner too, I think.

The flowers are just pretty and the frame around this photo gives the whole thing a really good contrast.Maybe you could have tried to get a second flower into this picture and not only parts of others. Or you could have tried to get a whole view of the flower in the middle so its part wouldn't be cut of from the end of the photo..
The sharpness of this photo is excellent and if you have too much fantasy(just like i have) you could think that there is a small tiger head in the middle of the flower.Well done.
